Saw this earlier. Would consider. I'd like to see how it performs against the rx8performance mount

You'd have to either be brain dead or have an agenda to pay the same for a painted steel one as a polished stainless steel for the same price

Looks good, Banzai Racing is a great shop.
I've purchased several items from them for my first gen.
Glad to see some products for the 8.

I would never buy anything from rx8performance, I like to receive what I pay for. But I agree stainless is better than E coated steel (no idea what type of steel) I guess.

Yeah but have you guys actually realized that bonzai's has real practical polyurethane mounts, as opposed to the other guys not really having anything?

The *other guy* has poly bushings built into the brace. Not knocking Banzai, but we all know 9k's relentless intent on the subject regardless of how many people ordered & received their mount with no misses.

I don't care for the center piece held in by two bolts. It's not as structurally correct or as strong that way. Is it really that much trouble to remove 6 bolts that thread in directly rather than two bolts that also have loose nuts & washers? They have it marked as $500 retail and discounted to $395, pretty funny ...

We will just have to see how it performs.

And regardless of me, the "other guy" is doing a fine job on his own recently of living up to his shitty reputation. But we can leave that discussion for the incoming bad guys threads.

Mod Edit:
Calm down. Bumping a 3 month old thread to rant over someone that isn't even involved in the thread is uncalled for.

2nd post deleted. Take it to a bad guy thread. This isn't the thread to vent about the person you are targeting.

Hey Bro ,

I'm looking into a Rew on my 8 once I'm done with my 1st gen . I think next month I'm going to part out my 8 completly and start fresh. Complete Engine on my 8 that was rebuilt, Suspension , Rays wheels , Then start first buying Mount then Engine and go from their. Is their a thread on your build or another built for a Rew swap. If I can get some decent money back for my 8 I will sell complete and buy a shell and start from their.

thanks

Chino,
I don't have a build thread, here are a couple REW builds below.
They both have excellent info about REW swapped RX-8's.
