I just couldn't get it out, maybe I did wrong? I removed engine cover and then battery cover, and as I opened two filter cage hooks, it was not wide enough for me to grab it, should I use some force or I did it wrongly?

You need to muscle the air box backwars. Push it towards the throttle body. The front of the airbox has two pegs that fit into the front of the engine bay frame. You need to move the airbox back far enough for these two pegs to clear the frame. Keep the two latches on the front of the air box down and latched until you have the air box clear. Then you can open it clearly.

On my 8, I filed down the hook for the vacuum hose in the center against the frame to get more clearance, and just carefully made sure I didn't pinch the hose.
