Rx8 Flooded again...Rant

I have a weak starter was planning on changing it spring time cuz winter is a piece of sht season, so yeah

I deflooded my car, changed the spark plugs, was good for about a month ish went to the gas station to get gas and it was decently warm turned off and turned back on went the gym, same thing, next day, today the piece of sht starts twice and stalls after that it doesn't wanna start and battery dies, -11 degrees. Honestly didn't think rx8's were this ****, goin back to my 240 after i sale it this spring .

Just wanted to rant

Did you bother to do any research on the car before you purchased said POS? Did you by any chance get a compression test before you purchased said POS? There are lots of members who live in northern climates and don't have starting or running issues. If you changed your coils, plug wires as well as the plugs, you may have a bit better luck. Also need to check you Catalytic converter to insure its not clogged. A compression test may be in order before you put any other money into the car. A little research could save a ton of heartache.

Mine flooded once.
Changed coils, plugs, wires, & replaced the bad cat nearly a year ago. No problems since. Never have to let it warm up.
-11° here this morning, fired right up.
A properly maintained Rx8 is a good car.

Eight years, 29K miles, zero flooding. I don't even THINK about flooding.

Um, how old are the coils. Best plugs and starter in the world will not help if coils are bad.

Get the Autozone ones, cheap, available, lifetime warranty..
