Looking for 2004 to 2008 MT RX8 with blown engine or nearly shot engine. Not in hurry as engine is being rebuilt this winter. Texas or adjacent states would be best unless I can acquire a big trailer and pickup for a long tow.

Hi, I live in Austin and I am looking reluctantly to sell my baby. Getting a new house and need the extra cash.

Original owner of the car when I bought her brand new in April 2004 for $32k.

Pretty much fully loaded except navigation. Did a lot of exterior mods to the car, but minimal mods on the engine itself. More show than go.

I've probably put only 15k miles total on her in the last 3 years. Ive probably put 500 miles in the last year. She currently sits at 75k miles. Literally just sits. Haha. The registration is still good, but the inspection sticker expired November of 2012. Tried to get her inspected, but she wouldn't pass, therefore I've just parked her and have been driving my gf's old Camry.

Anyway, I can provide pictures if you want. I just recently replaced the battery and starter so she starts up and runs. Whenever it gets real hot, she'll randomly stall while I'm driving. Engine is dying I'm sure. Freaken Mazda dealerships are a bunch of asshats. Would never replace my engine.
