Something new I am working on. Figured that it would be useful for those that aren't that great with graphing and would like to graph their COBB logs and display them here for troubleshooting.

Normalexception.net - RX8 Tuner Log Grapher

It is a very rough draft at the moment, but you can get an idea of what the main goal is here.

Attached is an example of what the logs will look like once they are graphed.

Take note that no logs or data is saved on the server. All the data is read from your log temporarily, and displayed right to your screen . You can also save the graph as an image (menu is at the top right) as well as enable data points, crosshairs, and more as time comes.

I just loaded some up. I've been using VD but I can't figure out how to make it consistent with numbers. some days it'll show 150whp haha others 180ish

That particular graph is, mind you that isn't my car. More importantly, that isn't an N/A 8 lol.

FYI You can zoom in on the graph when you are graphing your results by clicking and dragging with your mouse (will create a zoom box)

 

I thought so too. I will keep logging to see if it repeats but i just reflashed my ecu before that log

 

STFT and LTFT should be -.16 above 4,000 RPM. Not sure why yours are not or what could be causing that thought.

This peaked my interest, so I did a quick data log on the way home.

I love this thing, I need to get some current logs up now that I am properly tuned.

Here is one from when I was having issues before Steve Kan tuned my car. My AFR's would flat under any decent amount of load.

Did you adjust the Baro and Ambient temp from day to day? Did you use the same stretch of road?

LOL how about driver weight? Maybe you went to McDonald's first?

Same stretch of road. I use the interstate for 3rd gear pulls. I live in the country so there is hardly ever any traffic.

Get some fresh logs up. I feel like you should be seeing higher g/sec. It just tops out around 200ish... Unless I'm reading the graph wrong

Roger that sir, will work on that today as a default-disabled option (meaning you will have to click it to show it on the graph, to limit clutter). Btw, you guys can also "hide" the currently graphed parameters by clicking on their name in the legend at the bottom

 

Did you see the AFR's? It was flat lining at the lowest the primary O2 could read and when that happened, there was spark blow out and the engine bogged and fell on it's face. Which is why you are seeing that but in general don't get too caught up on G/sec, if you are going to look at anything look at MAF voltage.

 

yes, and i completely over looked that. I figured you were tuning on low boost . with the way maf scales are fubared I tend to generally look at G/sec first to determine(with consideration of mods of course) how well the car is performing. After I see if the numbers look to be in the general area of believable or not I make my final conclusion. I will try the maf voltage approach

Please forgive my ignorance, but do you guys know why my
LTFT drop off during shifting? Shouldn't the STFT drop and the LTFT
Stay consistent?

 

Normal . There are 3 long term fuel trims . The trim under load is different to the trim off throttle.
