No pics? There 17 on there at least for me..but anyway yes I agree that's why I posted here I did ask about the compression in my email and will for sure get it tested before purchasing.

I tried to open it up again just to make sure, and there goes the ad. I don't know why i got that pop up earlier saying that the seller removed the ad...idk

Anyway, the price is a steal, i should say, and its a low mileage as well. Don't get fooled by the low price and the low mileage, get a compression test on the engine, and if you can, get a carfax too. Let us know the outcome and good luck.

Alright so I tried calling the guy went to a message saying the voicemail box hasn't been set up yet and I also googled his phone number and it came up with a few other cars for sale at the same building that the rx8 was at.

Also the license plate says VY express and that seems to be a small freight company so with everything added together seems to be awfully fishy....and obviously I don't want to fly down there and end up buying a stolen car or something so I think I might have to pass on this unless someone on here lives in the area and can check it out for me?

I guess let me know if I'm just being paranoid or if those are some good red flags

I can see the pics just fine. The price is low, but not that low. My friend bought an 07' a few years ago for 13k with similar mileage.

It has been modified a bit, I see a catch can, auto-zone floor mats, and RFX clear side markers. It is also strange that it has the entire AP body package except the front lip, so that suggest a possible accident. A VIN check and title check would definitely be a good idea as well as a compression test.

 

I thought I'd give you a little update as I got ahold of the guy and talked to him a little bit. I'm assuming he buys cars and resells them as he said this is a resale from somewhere couldn't understand him as he mumbled. He knew nothing of about the car at all he wasn't aware of any of the 'issues' that come with this car.

Needless to say I think ill pass on this ones as I would feel more comfortable buying from someone that knows what they are talking about and knows what the car is.
