Differential Mount Bushing Removal
got mine out with a body shop type air chisel hammer fitted with a point chisel, took a while to dig them out
you can also take a hacksaw or cutting wheel and cut the steel flange straight across even with the ID on opposing sides to remove those flange segments. This then gives you a surface on the aluminum bracket to set against and push them out with with a press and suitable diameter rod, bar, or pipe (or large socket)
several places that sell them already installed in the support bracket too, think RX8Performance does
if you think that's fun wait for the day when you decide to do the rear subframe bushings, lol

Got mine out by cutting rubber out with a knife then cut through the steel wall of the bush with a hacksaw being careful not to cut the Al wall . once the steel ring was weakened i was able to push the bush out fairly easily.
My OEM ones are probably fine, but wheel hop on hard launches remains a problem. I want to up the stiffness, but not impact NVH too much. Hence, I'm trying a set o bushings produced by your countrymen.

Just for interest, the Series 2 Diff Mount Bracket (also includes rubber bushings) is 'heavier duty' when directly compared to all S1.
Also the NC Miata/MX-5 is heavier again in the 4 hole aluminum 'bracket area', side by side I cant see why the Miata would not fit, having said that the MX-5 bracket takes a lighter (weight LSD) Differential...
Please let me know if you are having any shipping issues with this local (AU) supplier..

Seeing it has the same dimensions "installation wise" to the NC MX-5 (unchanged) I don't see why not, sorry I don't have a S1 Diff Hanger in my possession, but I have an S2 and a NC.
The S2 is a different part # model code to S1, but it mounts in the same Rear X Member/Brace, Diff Housings studs are the same, except from a few minor part number updates, so yes M8, the S2 should fit no problems..
