GA STX/DD custom exhaust setup?

Hi guys! My wife and I are currently racing our 09 RX8 R3 in SCCA's STX solo class..we've got most of the car sorted out but now are working on the exhaust..In the near future i plan to install a catted midpipe (BHR,Corksport) and to build a custom Catback..i have plenty of STX rx8 buds who have built there own great catbacks that shave a ton of weight and pass sound inspection but most of them only race there car..This car is mainly used for STX competition/few track days, and is daily driven about half the week.. i have a cousin with a very nice exhaust shop and all i need to do is find out what i need to get the setup i desire..i would basically like to know a good setup that wont be TOO expensive, will pass sound tech, will shave a good bit of weight,(maybe a hint of power??) and that will ALSO be good for my wife DD'ing the car and wont cause too much vibration in cab like some of the other custom exhausts can tend to do..let me know what your suggestions are..thanks!

try some titanium 2.5 inches custom catback...if too expensive try with a 2.5 or 3 inch stainless steel one...way lighter than stock catback (think like 10-15 pounds for stainless steel, titanium even more)...it will vibrate inside anyway you do it. maybe doing any of those custom catback with resonators will do the sound inspection clean (not sure, i have never mesuared that)...hope this help buddy
