I'm making a new thread since i wasn't able to find any info searching.

It might only be that this one wire is a different color, but still if anyone has any information on why the diagram shows one thing while physically being another it would be much appreciated!

P.S. I used the Fog light diy thread as a reference.

 

The wire colors change with model years often, and even within the same years sometimes...just goes to show you that it is important to check the wires

Don't blindly assume that a wiring diagram you pick up on the net will be 100% correct

 

Yep, RX-8 problems. It doesn't make things easy that is for sure. I learned this the hard way.

Diagram is likely fine...but the wire colors might not be...what are you trying to do...that would make it esier to help you

 

The fog light diy, but i got it done. I just wondered why the diagram had discrepancies.
