Been lurking and doing research on these forums for some time now. What a great community and resource. The last Mazda I owned was a 1984 RX-7. Had it for the summer of 1994 until a very large F-250 literally backed over it. I ended up taking the insurance money and spent it on school. I've always wanted another RX but it just never happened, never got around to it, got married, had a kid, etc, etc. Well, after all these years I finally went ahead and pulled the trigger on getting an RX. I live in Bend, OR so I drove over to Portland and picked up a 2007 RX-8.

This thing was insanely clean - The previous owner had obviously taken great care of it. It's like a new car inside and there's not a ding on it.

I got to drive it back over the pass to the dry side of the state. Took Santiam pass back. I forgot driving could be so fun. And bonus - My 8 year old boy fits in the back!

Drove it up to Pilot Butte and took a few pics when I got back.
