I vote for Lakefront across from Landry's. Big parking lot and generally just cooler than Lafreniere. Finally, motivation to break out the tent and clean the car.

 

^ Isn't that the place by the "point"? I'll have to go ride back out and check it out.

 

I will try to make it if I am off of work. I live about 2 minutes from the lake soooooo I vote that.

 

1.3, yes, it is the place by the point. The point is the breakwater for the harbor there.

**** Hesselrode, you need to come to Kenner, there has got to be at least 10 in a 3 miles radius of me. Freaking rx-8's popping up everywhere... It's almost annoying, I didn't buy the car so I could see another one every time I go to work. And if anyone is looking for one forsale, they got a s1 TG on airline forsale, think 8k.

 

Well, it's like I said, Open to suggestions. I lived in LA all my life, but only about 4-5 years in NOLA.

Anyone got a back up plan incase it rains? Or would we just cancel?

 

As a backup plan, we can always hit Fox and Hound in Elmwood and eat ribs.

Does anyone want to get on the 7s board and invite them?

 

I don't care if the 7s come either way, it may b more people which would be nice. We could use a parking garage as a backup plan.

 

I think you should extend the invite for a rotary meet. That was always fun back in the day when I had my FD. Rx8's were always invited to the rx7club meets. Fox and hound is pretty good too. We did that once with the 7 club and then cruised from there to the lake front later.

 

So this is kinda random... but what about a meet here..
