Clear Bra using Performance (CP) Film

Thanks to those that have posted on the clear bra subject, you have helped me a lot searching those threads. I have selected someone to do my installation and I am down to choosing between the 3M film or something called Performance (name used in the south) Film / CP (name used in the North) Film. The forums do not have a history of a discussion of either of these products so I wonder if any members have any knowledge of the product. I am told that it is made by LLumar who makes window tint and comes with a lifetime warranty and I will also get an installation warranty from the installer. The product will be $470 for the front fascia and $175 for the install.

Anyone heard of this stuff? Any words of wisdom? Thanks.

Booster, I sell the Llumar kits here in Ohio. It's good stuff. The price you were quoted is about right.

Hey Booster....I'm one of the guys that responded to you on Tintdude.com. Definitely go with the LLumar brand. Our company installs Solargard's clearshield PPF...and LLumar's product is a much higher quality PPF and it's also clearer than the others. I'll be installing Clearshield on my RX8 since that's the brand we use. I must say though that Clearshield by Solargard is a great product and we haven't had any problems with any of it in the past. One of the reasons I am so impressed by LLumar's is due to the installation ease compared to other brands.

wndotinter and mdw33333 - thanks so much guys for taking the time to help me out. It is much appreciated since there are so many opinions out there on the clear bra and the films. I am gonna go with the Llumar kit and not look back. Thanks again !

Nope, not standard at all. You only get protective strips near the wheel wells standard.
