disappointment w/ Mazdaspeed kit
During installation of the Mazdaspeed kit I've found out that you have to chop off half of the factory bumper to accomodate the rear valence. What a disappoinment. I thought the unpainted "valence" area of the factory bumper was removable. Before making any abrasive modifications to factory bumper I was hoping that the rear valence was a cover. It's not.

It was previously posted that you had to "shave" the rear bumper to install the MS rear. I opted against it. Looks good with the rear aero flares - may have the bottoms of the flares painted to match the rest of the MS kit.

...ouch!
I asked the bodyshop specialist if he could just shave the factory bumper... he said there's going to be lots of shaving... "we cab shave off have your bumper." Unfortunately this guy knows what he is doing. His shop has plenty of cover cars and he's been in the business for almost two decades.
