hi all , new to this so stick with me ,ive just got a rx8 with a blow engine , got a secound hand one with 26000 on it and fitted it , unexpexedly it started firtst turn, the problem is it dosent seem to have any power top end, its like its restrickted , its fine low revs but just dosnt seem to have anything up top,i ran it flat out and it will only reach 97 mph, im a bit concerned i may have got the injector plugs mixed up a little, can some one tell me if it would still run if i had mixed a couple up . cheers

 

There are a lot of things that could be wrong...

Check the connections if you have any doubts......it will run at lower loads mostly on the P1 injectors...and until the load and RPM values go up the other injectors are offline

Do you have any CEL codes...if the intake valves are not openning properly it can cause problems as well

Did you check the CAT when you had the engine out? They often fail and you get poor performance...

Start someplace and systematically start checking things till you find it.....
