when i go to start my rx8 for work i notice a noise loud and and bad sounding something somiliar to a loose fan belt squeaking but sounding like its coming from the rotor engine itself it goes for the first minute then it stops wont happen again idk if its broke or scratching the engine bay inside i hope its nothing too bad any ideas???

 

How cold, and are you sure you are using anitfreeze in the coolant system and not just water. I have seen other cars in freezing temps just squeal to the high heavens because some of the water had froze and the pulley on the water pump didnt want to budge. Once there is enough heat, to water returns to liquid form and works as normal. Perfect example of why people have block heaters in the North.

Only thing I personally can think of, other may request a video for better guesses.
