Ok guys and gals,
I discovered a small amount of coolant on the garage floor
and could not find the culprit.
I took the RX-8 to a local shop to have the system pressure tested
with no luck. The mechanic leaned on my CAI pretty good checking for leaks.
On the way home the car had major drivability issues (would not idle and mis firing ) No check engine light.
I pulled the battery and tighten one of the hose clamps this morning and took it out for a spin.
Ran great.
Do you think that the CAI was the cause of the drivabilty issues?
I did readjust it when I go home from the shop.
