Seattle Auto Show '11
I was able to get out to the Seattle Auto Show today and it was pretty cool. There is a lot to see and a lot of really nice cars. Pictures don't do justice and if you get a chance go on out there.
A lot of the cars (except the real expensive ones) you're able to get in and out of, which I thought was really fun. I got to sit in a Corvette for the first time (though not the ZR1 haha.)
One thing that kind of bothered me and I know it's totally ****, but man, you're trying to show off and sell expensive cars, fix your hub badges!!!
There were only a few cars that had it right. The Rolls (but I think they stay upright all the time, which is pretty badass,) then the STI and Beetle ( the GTI might have had it too.) But the Bentley??? Really, you can't take the time to upright your badges? Along with getting the finger prints off the black paint, especially when the public can't even touch the car?

Three of the cars I would really love to own.
First the murdered out Exige!!! This car is so bad ***!

Man, did they do a great job when they brought back the Challenger!

The paint job on the CTS V is awesome!

Cool new Beetle

They got the Hub badges right!

Kind of looks like Godzilla

It said it was a 1926 Marmon

The brake light says STOP on it

Now for the best car of the show. Now I know I'll probably get flak for this, but I'm going to say it. Lamborghini's have been boring and bland for a while now, probably since the Countach. I've seen about 5 driving around in the past year and I have thought, so what, it's a boring looking car. Yeah it's got performance, but absolutely no styling. Until now!!! Check this one out!

This shot shows how low this car really is.

Absolutely beautiful styling!

Check out how big the rotors are. Fills up a 19" rim. (They couldn't take the time to right the hub badge
)

Just to compare how boring the sytling is check out this Lambo

If someone goes this weekend, can you please look to see if Mazda has their hub badges upright. I just went through some photos and I do believe they do. Good for them for caring.
Nice pics Scott.
Every time i see the new Aventador (especially in matte black like that one) i feel bad for the suckers that bought the Reventon for 4x's the money. Poor rich people

^ Thanks
Check out the wheel on the #41 RX-8. It's banged up from the lug gun
I found this to be really cool. Check out the lugs. The first inch is smooth and the tip is rounded to help guide the nut on and help it from stripping or cross threading.

Also they were showing the 0 rotor race car version. They probably didn't want oil dripping on the carpet, or they are busy getting it ready for the 24 Hours of Daytona.
And if anyone is wondering, they run 285 in the front and 305 in the rear.

That Exige is the new v6 version, I believe.
I went on Saturday, I wish they'd had an FR-S/BRZ on hand... but I guess the big reveal has to be for a bigger city
Still, that Aventador was awesome to see. That IS the new Batmobile, by the way. In the next/final Nolan/Bale Batman movie, he's got one
