Hi i need to buy the ignition coils , but i want to know if there are any suggestion for me, must i buy genuines or replacement are good as genuines?

If you can swing it, I'd go for the BHR Ignition kit, that way you won't have to worry about replacing coils ever again. You also gain a couple horses and the car seems to run a lot smoother. Definitely worth the money.

If not, just get the cheapest coils... you'll be replacing them again relatively soon anyways.

And that is for the EXACT same part number that you get if you walk up to a Mazda dealer's parts counter and ask for 4 ignition coils.

Why spend more?

They almost always have an additional online deal running. The "15% discount and free shipping on orders over $100" ended a short time ago. I know several people that got the whole deal (4 coils, 4 plugs, and 4 wires) for $182 shipped.

Hey guys,
I went ahead and ordered the Intermotor coils form AAP based on this thread and a couple others. I guess I was under the impression they would have Mazda's part number stamped on them, but there is nothing printed or stamped on them, and the box says they were made in Poland.
Should these be just as good to use?

The "made in Poland" threw me off. I was expecting to see made in Japan.

Parts like these are usually used across various cars. I don't know what other car this coil might fit, but only when they go through Mazda's supply chain would they be reasonably stamped with Mazda's part number. Usually factories can't sell a vehicles parts outside of the contracted supply chain for the first ~3-6 years (varies based on contract terms), but once past that, the factory usually starts supplying wear items directly to other parts suppliers, and chopping out the OEM middle-man results in quite a bit of cost savings.
