I offered the guy 11k and he was willing, its a black 06 base with a 6 speed (obviously) and about 49k on the clock. He just had the 50k maintenance done (plugs, wires, fluids flushed) and is gonna have it compression tested for me before I commit to purchasing it. This will be my first rx8 but I currently own a single turbo FD (second FD) so I'm plenty familiar with rotaries. I like the car but the price seems a tad high, especially since I've got a three hour drive over the flooded Missouri river valley to get it. Its bone stock. I can post the craigslist link when I get to my computer this evening. What does the rx8 community think?

 

I'd say that's a good deal, as long as the car checks out, especially for an 06.

 

Is that a manual or an automatic?
Both were 6 speeds for that year, I do believe.

With good compression, that sounds OK.
