I'm looking to get a double din radio.

Sound is #1 (with equalization a big plus)....ipod usability is #2.....interface is #3

All of them have DVD playback so thats fine -- Bluetooth and GPS dont really matter to me.

Any recommendations?

Also anywhere to get a nice metra kit for cheap?

 

I'm running a Pioneer 4200dvd. I have the ipod adaptor to stream video from my iphone. I am very happy with it. It's easy to use and is very expandable. I purchased mine through crutchfield. I got the cable, stereo and metra kit for $625. If you buy a stereo from them they will discount the cost of the metra kit to $75 versus $180 I think for just the kit

 

Im running the Pioneer Avic.Z110bt. Check out my thread for some pics. Sounds is incredible (and very customizable). Ipod interface is on it and tons of stuff. Refurbs run about 650 on it, original price is 1700. Best deck out there IMO

 

Thinking about getting that Pioneer 4200dvd that jim has -- looks pretty good and the reviews are very good.

yep, I've had mine since 2009 now and there's still nothing out there that really comes close, save for a carpc setup anyway.
