I want to be able to direct connect my iPod and iPhone to my '06 RX-8 stock stereo. I want it to be compatible with all iPods and iPhones. I am thinking of purchasing the Mazda adapter but I have heard that it is not compatible with the iPhone. Is this true? If so what adapter is on the market that will work with all iDevices?

 

I have the GROM adapter. It works well, and as far as I know is compatible with all ipods and iphones. You can also get a bluetooth add on that supports hands free calling, and can connect for just audio. From what I understand, it is also cheaper than the OEM solution. Hope this helps.
