if you're a big fan of neons and it's awkward sedan like look, go for the srt4.
if you like a sleek athletic car with aggressive curves that looks great and enjoy working on cars, get the rx8

this. Nobody here is gonna recommend the neon. Just like no one in the neons forum is gonna recommend the 8.

If you are more interested in straight line speed and don't care that your driving a neon, get the neon. The neon will be much easier to mod than the rx8, there are more and cheaper parts available for it.

If you like to corner fast and have a car that handles great and looks awesome then get the rx8.

Should I keep my Ferrari or Pinto? I know your question isn't quite that crazy, but what do you expect us to say?

The power of the SRT-4 would be nice but it's the only thing it has going for it. The 8 looks, handles, rides and drives better. Plus it has a nicer interior.

I'd go for the car that's the total package over the one trick pony.

I really think if I was a chick I would still pick the 8, might be a 6speed auto but still an 8. Lol

Neons just feel so "cheap" when you ride in them...

I'd say that choice is pretty easy... the 8 definitely wins that choice. If it was a 50 trim with a good tune, that would be a tougher choice, but I'd still probably choose the 8. Not really a fan of the high powered fwd cars.

Get the Neon so that regardless of how the RX-8 enthusiasts bash on it, you still beat their car in acceleration.

In before twisties comments and "in style" comments....haha

I vote for you doing more research. If you did your research and had an understanding of what is right for you, you wouldn't have to ask.

i cant keep both.. but i have decided.. after taking a long day to drive both i am keeping the 8.. the srt4 had a lot more torque and hp but honestly i didnt feel it, the ride on the rx8 is way better, quieter, the note from the rotary is even more comforting then the boost... to make things better i have already chosen my future car purchase its gonna be a 2003+ m3 e46, i dont think i can ever go back to fwd after driving the 8.
