anyone run nitto invo
anyone run nitto invo
Im looking around for tires on a upcoming rim purchuse. These nitto seem to be very common in the vette world. I was looking into the coninental DWS but want a bit more of a preformance tire that i can get ~20k out of. I started looking into the toyo T1r too and ran across the nittos. the nittos seem to be a bit cheaper and i think i can get a discount through the rim dealer. Just wanted to see if anyone here has them or other good/price options in a 275/35/19 option
I'm running Nitto Invo's in a 275/35/18 on 9.5" wheels all the way around and so far I am very happy with them probably have 4,000 mi or so on them. Good tires, Good grip, nice ride and not to noisy.
only down fall i read is a few said they have soft sidewalls and notice it on turns. Have you felt any of this being the sidewall should be the same with the 19 compare to your 18
BHR's website has a whole writeup on these tires.

oh I know the dws are all season from what I have heard the wear rating is off and they don't last. I was comparing the invo and the t1r. I think ill end up with the invo for the price

Ah, gotcha! IIRC the Conti DWS actually have a mileage warranty, so in the event they wear pre-maturely you may be able to have them pro-rate the cost of the next set.
The T1r is an older tire than the Invo. Neither will be knock-your-socks-off amazing, but I would personally prefer the Invo as well.

the local belle tire has had many issues with conti honoring their warrenty on the DWS. I guess there have been a few but the last set that came through has 22k on them, no uneven wear, and rotation slips from belle. Last i knew they were still fighting with conti to replace them. Im just looking for a street tire that will have enough for a bit of sprinted driving and the turbo. the 255 goodyear eagles are just starting to not cut it at 5-7psi.
so far it seems like the best option for preformance/price/life.you getting them for the advans?
Im still trying to save for the rims. Its a lot for just them
I think i may order the carbon soon pm me all the things your looking to do other than the one that im doing too. I may just order it all if the price breakis good.

Yeah, they got mounted to the advans today, tomorrow I swap rims, I got the tires because (without dsc) my car is a weak performer in the rain compared to any other time, and these have great wet road reviews.
I was debating between the INVO and the NT05s before i got the latter. Since Florida's always raining in the summer and all. Then again, it rained really heavily a couple times last couple weeks and the 05s held up fine in the rain
