ok so i'm tired of racing neck and neck with all these other rx8's in town. i decided it's time so add some ponys to the table. so here is my plan. i'm open to all idea's

the car is on 06 gt i put on a full headerback exhaust and a bomz ram air intake, identical to the aem setup.first thing i want to change the rev limiter to either 8500 or 9000 rpm and get rid of the govenor the next step i wanna take is to get a programmer or tuner. i was just reading about the mazdamanic? i live in saskatchewan canada so i don't know where i would get that done. is there any engine mods that a person can do with the stock moter? i dont know if mine is 4 port or 6 port. next i was thinking of nitrous, but i also dont want to take a turbo off of the table cause i was wondering what made more sense? from what i read people are spending tons of money with very little gains. i want to keep the stock moter btw.

i have read alot of the forums and i thought i could get one with everything put put in one thrd to make it easier then searching through a 100. thanks for all who participate and feel free to post links to helpful threds.

Yeah, you're not going to get much help...

1. don't talk about street racing. It's forbidden.
2. If it doesn't say AEM or Mazdaspeed, it's probably not identical.
3. the MazdaManiac is a person who tunes the RX-8 engine with a device called the Cobb AccessPORT (look it up). I have one.
4. If you want power, you have to go forced induction, or NOS. (look it up)

edit: Best way to change revs is through the AccessPORT.
