We, PCCNZ (Pinoy Car Club New Zealand), would like to invite NZ RX-8 Club to join us for a day on our drag race meet on 30th of April 2011.

We found a major sponsor for the event that helped us organized this event and they offered a deal for us that we would like to share to you guys.

PRICES:

$60 - drag race only

$150 - $168 worth of grooming service (see details below on whats on the grooming pack) + drag race

Details of the deal:

Offering first 100 exclusive clients a Supreme Groom plus Odour Eliminator treatment and a Private Day at Fram Autolite Dragway. State Highway 1 Meremere, one of the Best Place to Race.


The Package;
$150 includes vehicle groom & drag racing day (if hire of helmet needed $160). Vehicle Groom and Drag racing day will come in separate vouchers. You can redeem both yourself or utilise one voucher and give the other one to a friend, family member or maybe a client. What a great gift idea.

Highlights with vehicle groom – This package includes;
Supreme car groom at Espresso Carwash Botany Town Centre or Sylvia Park Sites, High pressure hot water rinse, 100% hand wash shampoo & rinse, clean door shuts, chamois & cotton towel dry, acid wheel treatment, dress tyres, silicon wheel arches, detailed hand wax & polish, vacuum interior, interior windows, dashboard & console rejuvenated, door panels cleaned, all pockets & plastic cleaned, air vents fine brushed, Odour Eliminator Treatment and interior freshener. Vehicle groom is valid from 1st April 2011 – 30th June 2011.

Highlights with Drag racing day;
Saturday 30th April 2011, 11am – 6pm, exclusive private day at the only purpose built dragway in NZ. Will be utilising the Compulink system that will give you print outs of reaction time, quarter track half track and full track times, maximum speed reached. Spot prizes.

Points to note;
Must have at least a restricted drivers licence and you will be required to evidence your drivers licence on the day of racing.
Vehicle must have a current W.O.F and Rego. Vehicle will be required to go through on the day Scrutineering and cleared before racing permitted.
All drivers to be wearing long pants and shoes, wearing of helmet mandatory. (Helmets can be hired for an additional $10)
No pets, alcohol or drugs are permitted at the venue.
No racing shall be conducted during rainfall. If weather looks extremely doubtful the night prior then the 30th April race day will be rescheduled. If racing does commence and it rains on the day then that is unfortunately the luck of the draw.
Crash crew and Ambulance will be onsite (a good day racing is a safe days racing)


This would be different on typical drag race competition as you can test your car/s as much as you can. Good for those guys who wants to tune their car in some serious drag racing and or for those who just want to have fun and test their ****** without getting troubled by cops.

hmm - last time I went to Meremere I got turned away for not having a scatter shield on a stock RX8 - f'ing ridiculous . Put me right off ever going back .

asked the guy from mere-mere. as long as you pass WOF without scatter shield and can drive the car legaly on road, its all good to run.

 

Do we just turn up on the day or do we need to preregister ?
