So I have an elm327 Bluetooth obd2 single hooked up to my 8 and my droidX with torque. It was all working perfect until I get the car back from the dealer. They ended up doing the msp16 Ecu flash on it and now he single will not connect. Even my USB obd2 reader wont connect. Anybody had this issue before?

 

check the port for loose connections. most likely the dealer damaged it when they flashed your car.

 

I checked the port and all seems to be ok. Took it back to mazda this morning and they said that everything is ok. I have 3 different adapters and not a single one will talk to the ecu.

 

Will this read a CAN bus? Not all ODB II is the same.

 

Yes. It worked perfectly fine before they did the ecu flash. Autozones tool wont even read it now either. And Mazda said they didn't do anything to it to cause this. I'm calling BS. Gonna have them hook up to it and show me that its working correctly instead of just taking their word.
