S2 Pettit Superchargers

So I don't know if anyone noticed, but pettit just updated their website. You can now select your car and look at the parts available for it. They are describing their super charger kit as available to all rx-8 models and specifically indicating it fits 09 and up 8's... Worth taking a look and maybe calling them and confirming.

Definitely interested in that....I emailed them in the past and they said they had their PCM-AN was still in R&D, so if this is true, maybe S2 owners will have the first way to tune.

I WANNA CHARGE!!

I also just emailed them about the supercharger kit for S2 RX-8s, and Cam said they are heavily working on it and hope to have it done before too long.

true true, one question that has been lingering for me is if their method of tuning opens doors for people like Cobb, etc.

No details or time estimate. I was just thrilled to hear that they are definitely working on it.

^ Oh well silly pants, I meant how it would affect being able to use a Cobb on a S2 in the near future now that Petitt has found a solid (assuming) way to tune

Great to hear! I'd rather go with something like this rather than a turbo. How long before the whine of the SC gets old is my question.

Wow I want that in the near future, so much more reliable than a turbo.

Dude where is Moon???!! I want details about his install. I've been waiting for Pettit to release a "for sure" S2 Supercharger, feels like, forever now.

His Pettit kit is highly modified and has been physically altered. Not to mention his own tuning solution. All the details are in the Pettit thread in the horsepower section.

I just tried to read up on all the posts....from all I could gather is that, its way more than a headache to do a SC setup right now.
