Woofer enclosure setup

Im big into audio and do a lot of high end setups and enclosure designs.

Im wondering if anyone here has tried any high-end setups and what worked best for them? Such as blow-throughs, side, or back firing enclosures.

My plan is a woofer of mine in a "horn loaded" type ported box. Id like to try firing off-axes but I dont think the sound would travel too well back into the cabin.

Edit - Re-read through the FAQs. You cant put a new head unit in the rx's? Thats bogus.. the stock one blows. Not only did I want to get a dvd receiver but I prefer the crossover controls that aftermarket head units provide.
Ugh
Could be a deal breaker for me..

I see this topic is very old.... but even back then, you were able to replace the factory headunit with aftermarket.

Let us know if you're still interested in doing something.
