just purchased a rx8, wondering if people had suggestions on what to modify with around 1 - 2 grand

Op do a little searching this question was probably asked a dozen times just in the last week alone. Step 1: Use the search button. Step 2: Mod your car the way you feel fit according to your own likes and dislikes.

 

if it's a S1 then replace the coils and some other bits. S2's are usually good to go from the factory. Get some new springs and shocks. upgrade ur calipers or at least pads. maybe some tasteful aero stuff?
