Wanting to find people to go on a drive in the Fort Riley, Salina Topeka areas.

 

Nobody on here that lives around Fort Riley? I see plenty of rotary cars driving around!

Its not, but i just don't think the people that have the 8s and 7s are on here. ha. Hopefully i will still be here in Feb.

Aviation is the way to go. You would be amazed how differently this field works lol.

 

So i am hoping to get something rolling. I have seen about 6 different Rx8s around Fort Riley, and a few Rx7s. I would like to get a meet going and after winter possible drives to events like AutoX. I may start making little fliers and putting them on any rotary car window i see so that i can possibly spark an interest if they aren't on forums.

Let me know if any of you are interested, and where you are located. My car will be driven all winter...Thanks to Snow tires.

I recently moved to the area. My 8 is down for the moment (needs clutch work), but when she's up and moving I'd love a meet up.

 

Update: She's alive again! New clutch is in and she's ready to roll (gently ) Anyone around?

On Friday I saw six RX-8s all in Fort Leavenworth. By my count, one red, two black, a yellow and a white. Also a bronzish-redish at a distance. I drive a 2010 R3 in blue.

Anybody else on here from Fort Leavenworth?

Apparently the -8s on Fort Leavenworth do not belong to any enthusiasts... what a shame!
