I have been calling junkyards around here but no luck, apparently the guy who had the car before me really screwed things up. I need a new connector that comes off the main harness for the fuel pump. mine melted. If anyone has or knows about a salvaged rx8 that can get me one please let me know. Thnak you in advance

 

wow that sucks ..... what you need my friend is someone parting their car ... try these guys i think they have an 8 (long island) chappel auto wreckers -- medford ny (i think)

 

It's the same plug on a lot of Mazda vehicles....

Protege's MX-6's I think...if you go to the wreckers...look around.

You can rob pins from other parts of the harness as well..a lot of the plugs will onlt have 2 wires..but it is easy to add them

So I am a little late in the game but I think I am looking for the same part ... I have a crack in the piece connecting to the fuel line on the upper housing discharge. Does anyone by chance know where I can get just this part? I have a 2004 RX-8. Thank you!
