Okay so this weekend I was driving down to my local Pick-n-Save Went inside got my bag of cheetos and a cold case of Guiness and came out started my car and the CEL came on. As i have read it might have been a missfire and so I trying to find out what plugs and wires I need and where i can get them. Also I changed the battery because it need it and I tried to turn my car on to see if ...well it worked.. and now my DSC light is blinking and the little Traction light ( one with the car and skid marks) is also on along with the CEL any info on that? I would appreciate it. Thanks much

 

Whenever you disconnect your battery you need to reset the DSC by turning the steering wheel clockwise fully, then counter-clockwise fully.
Go to the local Autozone and get the code pulled to verify what the CEL is.
Could simply be a loose gas cap.

 

Sounds like a plan. Also there is no harm if i drive it down to Autozone right? because my "local" autozone is about 30 mins away

 

No problems.
If the CEL was blinking... then I wouldn't drive it.

I found out it was just my gas cap was loose one day >.< got it fix thanx fellas
