I remember when I bought my car, there was a chrome plate frame at the rear bumper. When they registered the car and delivered to me, that was missing so, I assumed they had to remove it because the standard number plates would't fit. Now I notice that above the number plates, where the NP light is located, there is blank space, like something was removed from there. Is this how it should be or they removed something from me? If yes, please tell me what I should be looking for in order to buy a replacement.

Do you mean the area where the license plate bulb sits? There is a plastic clear lens (if you want to call it that) covering the bulb that is held in by a black plastic piece. But yes it is rather open to the inside of the bumper.

 

I mean around that light. Is it empty or is there something like a cover?

 

The license plate bulb is covered in a clear plastic housing that then snaps into the bumper and yes it is otherwise open.
