Hi everyone... i've already change all internal lights to LED white, glove box n trunk lights to LED blue... but I wanted to change the puddle lights but I have no idea how... its not even in the manual book given when i bought the car (it only says that it is complicated)... does anybody have the diy for changing the puddle lights? Thanks in advance...

looks like he hasn't signed on in over a month though :/. On that note I don't know if his puddle lights would work on the new models. If you can figure out how to take your mirrors apart I don't see why you couldn't get some 194 sockets and fab them into the side mirrors, run some wires through the door then bingo.

 

Does your car have factory puddle lights? if so I think you can just get some bulbs and swap them. rx8strakes has some.

 

If you don't. Heres what I can do for you... not sure if it applies to your car though...

 

yes my rx8 has puddle lights but i want to swap them with leds... is there a simple way to swap them or do i have to remove the whole side mirror?

 

If you can pop the clear plastic protector out, you can swap them. Otherwise I guess you'll have to pull the mirror off.

hooray...i've changed my puddle lights to LED white... its simply remove the mirror and remove the bulb cover and swap the bulb...tnx again...

 

Can you do a DIY Thread on this i want to change too but do not know how to? Thanks
