agggggggg, so i bought a new tool kit recently, and while looking under the hood i see the nut that hold down the strut brace look a tad weird i find a socket that fits but before i even attached the rachet it falls off. Guess it got over torqued at one time.

anyone know where i can get a replacement of what ever this round bracket is called

 

drill the stud out and fit a bolt there in it's place

that seems to be becoming common place. mine broke and ive seen a few other threads on it happening. i just bought a new one from the dealer.

 

hmm, cheap fix may be to drill it out and save up for a new strut tower
