Hi, I'm having trouble installing the double din Metra kit. When I go to mount the HU, the brackets on the side can't align with the screws for the AC vent because they are blocked by plastic around the screw. I've outlined the problematic area in the attached image. Can anyone help? Do I need to file down that plastic part?

 

Remove screws on both side, pull vent out, place headunit in, align screw holes, place vent back in, screw it.

Also, it looks like one of your white tabs has been pulled out. Remove it from that hole and re-attach it to the faceplate.
