Hello folks - I haven't been very active over the past year - since my move from WA to AL. I still have the car, although my wife has adopted it. She drives about 35 miles each way to work - mostly highway - and loves the 8 for her commute. Frankly, I feel pretty good about her driving it lots because of it's safety stuff. Another upshot from driving my Legacy GT most of the time - when I get into the 8 I think "WOW!"

Anywho - here's a photo from the park today. Car looks just like a stock RX8 w/ TEINs, Strakes, and Tint.

If our house back in WA sells, I'll make the 11? hour drive to Pettit next summer and add some happiness.

Hey Dan! Yeah - Left May 12th. No idea when I'll make it back that way. However, when I do, I'll absolutely work it to meet up with you and others. I've met one rx8 guy down here (Boosted via GReddy) - but with his flight-skewl hours it's hard to meet. Nice guy though.

How's the weather up there? :D

Thanks Jedi - appreciate it. Yup - she loves it. The folk at her work (semi-local Home Depot) say things to her like "Dayum! Your old man must be making lots of money for you to have a car like that!" or "where's your hot rod today?" (when she drives the legacy). Makes her blush. I told her to either tell them $15k or less gets a 04 rx8, OR say "Yup...my hubby has mad cash!" :p


Why is that? License somebody to operate a car and you have a wreck waiting to happen...TEACH somebody to DRIVE a car and you've got years of safe motoring ahead.

Orlando makes a good stop along the way, we have 3 Pettit cars locally.
Mines the daily driver Pettit car.....
