First Month With My RX-8

Hey guys just bought the car about a month ago now and replaced the ambers with clear corners(dont have a good pic, the cars dirty) and then installed an AVIC 700BT last week and today "finished" putting 2 Alpine 10" R's. I just need to make a false floor board to cover the amp so I can use the trunk so heres some pics.

Woo and Im done. I love it

That dash kit and head unit look pretty sweet but all that extra weight and an automatic transmission makes me cringe

No offense, I think it's awesome, but once I saw the shift gate, I was like WHHYYY?
Either way, nice setup and like the colour of the plastic thing that goes around the LCD unit.

maybe you noobs didn't notice this rule when you signed up.
6. Be respectful. This is harder to define, but will be moderated. An example would be disrespecting RX-8 owners who chose an automatic transmission over a manual, and "sneering" at them or acting like they're idiots for the choice they made. If a moderator believes you are being purposefully disrespectful to a fellow member, you will be notified. Bashing for the sake of bashing will not be tolerated.

I did read the rule, Im entitled to my opinion and I wasn't bashing on him? I asked him why

If I said it was an autotragic and it's terrible then that is bashing. I know other's preference autos over manuals and I have an auto mazda 6. I love it and auto is great for winter.

I love the final install, super clean! But what about the cover over the amp? That's not going to build up too much heat under there?

^^ you could try to build in vents when you build the false floor for the trunk. I have an AVIC D3 installed in my 8, your dash setup is similar to mine, I like. The only other recommendation I have would be the nav antenna I saw in the back window. If I were you I'd run it through to the trunk deck lid and mount it on the outside. Looks much cleaner and then you don't have that wire sticking out.
