hey guys. The navigation screen will not turn on on my 04 rx8. I can manually open it and the close button will close it but it will now open it. I did the procedure to fix it if the battery is replaced but that didn't work. I have an issue with the headlights wiring harness right now. is that related to the nav? any ideas?

 

what procedure are you talking about if the battery was disconnected? Sounds like your motor lost alignment.. If you want to try it yourself, check my posts- in some thread I posted the procedure to recalibrate it. If I remember correctly it was the apple car computer install thread..
Also, I don't know how the headlight harness could affect the nav- I suppose there's always a tiny chance there's a much larger electrical problem but it sounds pretty slim

 

Hey just wondering if I ever fixed this as mine is doing the same as yours. And if so did u resolve the issue.
