Sure does look purty. You install it yourself? If so...how long did it take?

How much did the setup cost?

Hmmm... good news.

Now if we can just get a vendor (Defi, perhaps?) to come out with replacement gauges for the standard factory location, in the dash pod.

Useful but I don't like the way they look on the pillar, just my opinion. I'd love the one Mazdaspeed is working on that displays the gauges on the Navi screen, HOT!!

I take it that disables the airbag in the pillar, right? As long as you don't wind up having gauges flying at your face in the case of an accident, I think they look great, but, yeah, I'll wait for the digital gauges myself.... Shouldn't be too much longer.

When I saw the title. I think it will be pretty rice. Not really. It is nice. I prefer on your nav top though. Better yet have a button to toggle between the meter screen and your GPS screen

nice setup, defi makes excellent products both functionally and asethetically. they match the stock gauges of the rx8 well. but I prefer that the gauges be mounted in where the navigation would go, over the red display interface on the dash rather than over the airbags so we dont have gauges flying at my face in an unfortunate accident

Thankyu ALL

I hesitated you will install Defi Mater on the left side of the meter panel and either one of the pillar.

But because the curtain air bag has not been attached to the pillar of my car, meter was installed to the pillar.

Defi Meter

What do you think?
My RX-8 is no Curtain AIR bag.
If air bag operating, it does not fly meter to the face.

This is maybe a tad cleaner and safer for US drivers...

Even without the curtain airbag, I wouldn't really want gauges on the a-pillar. That pillar is beafy enough as it is and creates a blind spot to my left (JPY right) side.

You mean the FEED dash kit, Dookie_Rx-8. I haven't seen a similar one anywhere else and someone checked, but didn't hear back from FEED about making a US model of it.
