^ estimates are pretty close.

Work on getting that 60' down. 2.4 sec. leaves room for much, much improvement. Figure for every tenth taken off your 60', about a tenth and a half is taken off your ET.

i hear if you multiply your 1/8mile time by 1.56 it gives a pretty good 1/4 time est.
so ....its about a 15.3......i see your 60t is a 2.4 you need to work on your launch and try to get a 2.0-2.1 and you will run lower 9's in the 1/8 and mid 14's in the 1/4....launching is pretty difficult in the 8 you need just enough wheel spin to stay in the power band or youll bog down......ive ran 9.8 in the 1/8 with traction on.....

Why launch with TCS on? You will never cut a good time that way. Or was that your point?

thats my point....ive also run a 9.1 with dsc off...which would equal a 14.2...

that actually was one of my worst 60ft. I had a 2.239, 2.257, 2.336 all with slower ET's. When I ran the 9.847 I was spinning like a champ all the way through first and a lot in second(first time that has ever happened in this car) so I figured my ET was going to be pretty slow but it turned out to be the best . I figure with a good set of sticky 245's I could launch better/harder. Currently i'm running 225 federal tires which I believe are perfectly built for crap.

I would guess so also. Bog would take you out of the powerband and lose momentum- offsetting the benefit of the better 60' time.

Yeah, but the extrapolation process is rather accurate.
