Best Headlight on the 8.... Finished.

OK, i finished them and have a vide for the ppl that thought it wasa fluke or some photoshop trickery lol. And some pics for everyone else. I didnt get my fogs yet, so the bumper isnt on yet, I did the fog rewire so i can run them without the headlamps on, this way you can really see them well at night, a great look.

I know this look isnt for everyone, but i think it turned out great and i hope that i get an a for effort... even if some ppl hate it.

Here is the vidoe link.

here are the new colors...

So i swapped them out for the white, well i swapped the DS one at lest, what do you think looks better... I wish i had my fogs here and ready, I have them set up to run HID, but they wont be here till tomorrow. Oh well, let me know.

P.S
all the lights that look blueish are actually pure White. I used a 194 LED wedge bulb from Xetronic, and the runners around the housing are pure white SMT's, the camera is pickup up ALOT of blue, but still sweet, they are a little whiter in person, but just a little

thanks ross dawg :D... And lazy, theyre actually white, bit like i said the cam is pickin up alot of blue. the bulbs in the running lights are white too. They look better in person, still a little blue-ish, but not as bad as the pics.

Thanks for being patient everyone, i know it took way longer tan i was hoping. I sold one of my old lamps, and i think with the other, since its scratched, Im gonna do a DIY, it only ran me like $100, and thats because i didnt know what to do the first time around, this time i think i could do it for like 40-60 bucks.

CRAAAAAAP!
So, i just now got back in from changing out the amber parking lights and went to all white. I dropped the friggin marker bulb in the housing and had to take it all apart and get the @*@$er out of there.

Why did they make the lights so damn impossible to work on/change a tiny *** bulb!
NEwho... the all white does look better, thanks for the input everybody, but DAMN, they're bright.

Nice piece of work! You've done what others (including me) have only drempt about doing. Since I saw an Audi R8 I realized how awesome nice this type of effect looks, in that case in daytime especially.

How do yours look in daylight? More pics / video of that?

A DIY of the drill, polish, install, and seal would be nice!

Sorry.............still not a fan.

It looks ricer, IMO. This looks like something you'd find on some riced out Civic, not some refined car like an 8.

It might be okay if the lights were uniform all the way around but it looks like at the top and the inside edges it looks like there wasn't sufficient space to "cram" the lights into the crevices between the hood and the center of the bumper.

Thus, it does not look uniform.

Good luck getting the bumper back on, if these lights are filling up space that the bumper covers normally.

f there is a spacing problem, it's only a detail. The execution of the concept is what counts, even thou I don't really see anything so bad.
