Thieves tried to jack my spoiler....

So I was coming back to my car after a night of bar hopping when I noticed that all the pins that hold my Mazdaspeed spoiler to the the base mount were missing. Somebody actually tried (and failed, it seems) to jack the top half of my spoiler!! The closest dealer to me is more than a half-hour away... does anybody know what the pin sizes are for the Mazdaspeed wing?

I'm thinking if I go to Home Depot or something I can at least find correctly sized bolts and pins for it. Currently, I'm holding everything together with duct tape

That sux man. Word to the wise, dont take ur ride to an overpopulated parking lot located near night clubs. Your likelihood of attracting drunk haters or prospecting thieves is highly elevated. At least park in a well lit area with alot of people traffic.....and when possible near cars worth alot more

Bingo.

If I see a Beamer or Mercedes or Lexus or Corvette, I make a point to park next to them.

Not only will it give a little "competition" in the thievery realm............it is less likely that they will let their door ding the side of my car.

This is why I invested in a good alarm (CompuSTAR PRO). Might not prevent everything, but it'll scare off most people before they do too much damage.

there's a ford ranger in my apartment complex with an aftermarket alarm system. They park right next to me. I have an exhaust, midpipe and intake which all contribute to making my car louder which sets off the alarm. So does walking by it, opening and closing my doors... sometimes it just goes off for no reason. Everyone around here hates it, but every ignores it. If someone were to try and get into that car to steal something or the car itself, no one would know... it would be just like all the other times the alarm goes off.
