Both CS and BS were first run group as well.
It is a shame that he will most likely not make natls, at least not in CS anyway.

He may look at a tues-wed ride.
I would think a TDI cup driver would do himself a favor by finding a VW something to drive, and do well in, at natls.
But there are not to many competitive Vdubs in Solo. Although..... DS is wide open Bartek gone, an R32 might not be a bad ride for him.

So, I hear that at the end of day one, ULLLLLLLOSE had about .4 on Bryan Heitcotter in the turbo mr2, followed closely by another SFR member, Zach Heideprem (who has been really picking it up in his RX8) and then Team RX8. Also, Jason and Bryan both benefitted by reruns on their 3rd runs?
It'll be interesting to see how things finished up today...I heard the courses were fantastic, 3rd gear in the '8, and that it was a really fun event, but that they did have a major timing issue which caused a big delay, yesterday...sounds like a National, not Divisional, event on that basis...

I don't know the details because I wasn't able to watch the group, but Bryan was able to get Jason yesterday to take the weekend by a couple tenths.
I heard something about Jason getting a little out of shape on his last run.
