I have a squeak (a chirp) which only occurs with the AC running and in higher revs. It hasn't really caused any other problems aside from the annoyance. My question is, what are the chances it's the belt? If it was the belt, would tightening the belt be enough or would that be the belt getting worn. (side note: I do have the AP pulley installed). So would I want to replace the belt? tighten it up?

When I first brought up this issue, I was told it was probably the belt or compressor, but never managed to get around to figuring it out. Anyone else have a similar issue in the past?
