i have someone offering 2006 rx-8 stock wheels in good condition with kumho ecsta ast tires (225/40/18) with around 200 miles on them for $725 + 100 shipping....is this a good deal? If not, what would be a fair price to ask? I'm having trouble deciding because there is such a variation in how much these go for....

 

A brand-new set of stock rims will cost you $2000 + sales tax from a Mazda dealer, with no tires or TPMS units. Last year I bought a second set of clean, used rims with no curb rash, for just under $700 with no tires or TPMS, shipping included.

I'd say that if your seller is being honest about the condition of the rims and the mileage on the tires- AND you are OK with those tires, it sounds like a very good deal to me.

thanks for your reply, yeah I've heard good things about those tires, and theyre the right size for no rubbing since I have a mazda 3. Seems like a decent deal, not great, but a good price. there seems to be some minor curb rash but nothing that's very noticeable, theyre in decent condition for used wheels...
