Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the mounts on the cloth seats to drop them by another 1"-1.5"? I like to sit in a fairly upright position, but I'm almost 5'11" and i have about 1/2" of clearance above my head in my desired seating position. Unfortunately this lack of headroom completely precludes me from wearing a helmet in the car unless I sit with a serious gangsta lean.

Would it be as simple as drilling some new holes in the mounts under the seat? I haven't yet taken the seat out to see if this was possible but if it is possible, is this something that a body shop could do rather easily?
