Wouldn't the wheel offset be important in determining this?

It's all in the rims ...width and offset determine the position of the tire.....you can fit 275's on all 4 corners.

What size are the rims...

8.5 will be fine.. 8 will work, but not as nice.. offset is perfect.

275's how about on 18X8.5 +44? I would love to get 275's all around!

Swoope....Should have told him the tires will fit....just not on 8.5" rims properly anyway....

You should be up in the 9-9.5" wide wheels for tires that size

The 275 tires fit nice on a 9.5" rim in the 40-45 offset range

oh thanks. So it's just the 8.5 in that's the trouble? Will 265's fit?

why have such meaty tires on your car? a little bigger than stock is nice, but why make it look like it's ready for the drag strip?

My car i will track but i mostly race it on the drag strip. im a drag guy and just because my 8 isnt *designed* to drag thats what im making it to do, i guess im the outcast. So thats why i want wide as tires as i can get.

Not properly.....It's been known to be done by Autocrossers...I think some have stuffed 285 Hoosiers on the stock 8" rims

stiffer springs could help with the rubbing.
