Hot or Ugly (My idea)

Ok I've really been thinking about doing this to my car, unfortunately I have 0 photochop skills so I will have to describe it to you and leave it up to your imagination.

I have a Lightning Yellow Eight, and my idea was to do ........ TS2 Carbon Fiber Hood, The Burnout KD-IV carbon fiber front, and side skirts with the gas tank and the CF trunk.

I dont know If i would like it or not, I believe black and yellow go good together, but I don't know if it would look WAYYYYYYY to ricey, I'm trying to stay out of the ricer nation, I just don't want to spend all that money just to "see" how it looks and then not like it, and be stuck with like 2k worth of stuff that I don't like anymore

Do it. What the worst thing that'll happen. Someone will call you a ricer...blah blah blah, and you can always paint it if it doesn't look good. The colors will look good together, and if not, its not that hard to change.

See...thats the "hot girl" option you could have got with your car. So with her and your carbon fibre you'd have a sweet combo!

definitely go for the burnout kit. the 2 tone will look good. i'm not sure about the hood and trunk though. i'm gonna keep mine blue. here's an idea of what it looks like on blue. you can get someone to photoshop it yellow if you want.

It doesn't save that much weight? Did you tell Jared that about eating Subway? It's not like saving 1,000 pounds, but it does save weight.

Wet carbon fiber hoods weigh more than stock aluminum hood.
It would weigh less than a steel hood on a civic yes. But not for us.
Dry carbon would weigh less but aerospace grade CF costs 50x more.

Hey.. Nothing wrong with a Bumble Bee... I'm a different kind of Bumble Bee..

It's not CF... it's black, but I believe it accents the car very well.... This is my Bumble Bee

I don't have a CF Hood... (my opinion... that would be TOO much!)

carbon and yellow would look ok but a lil ricey, now if you were to paint portions of those parts or maybe get your bodyshop to make a pearl yellow topcoat to spray the parts with by all means try it. just keep it original
