Hi guys, quick question. The mettalic piece behind the rotor, brake rotor, the one that also tends to rust, is that called the backing plate, just double checking. To future proof, would it be better to powdercoat or to zinc plate. Which method is more durable against rust and safer. Also is it true the new models, I have an 04, have an improved design that dont rust, apparently preplated by Mazda. Thanks.
